You will need to find collectibles, beat the game in a few hours, and defeat all the optional bosses, among other tasks. ![]() If you want to earn every trophy in Axiom Verge 2, please visit our full list below. Besides the Walkthrough and Beginner's Guide pages, you can check the following questions, which you might come across during your time with the game. However, there are a few things the game doesn't tell you, and some others that aren't clear enough. In this section you will find three pages:Īxiom Verge 2 is a game focused on exploration and it invites you to search every corner of the map. If it's your first time playing Axiom Verge 2 or even a "metroidvania" video game, this section is for you! Here are some general and specific advice and suggestions for you, which will assist you in your journey. There are different areas that you will need to go back and forth to reach newer ones. This means it's a game with a heavy focus on exploration and a labyrinthine-level design. Lastly, I don’t really understand the whole nano-Indra as well as “mostly human” Indra being alive at the same time.Axiom Verge 2 is a "metroidvania". Is The Emergence in fact sudra? Or is it just another world between worlds? And were between the dimensions is The Filter? Is it the dimension that sits on top of all other dimensions in the “tree”? Is this correct? I’m also trying to understand the “other worlds” of AV2. As far as I understand the mutation is because we constantly enter the breach, speeding up the outside time and thus “infecting” the humans. This Trace thing also ties into the whole mini-xedur mutation going on that I’m not fully clear on. Did they actually come to this world as well? And if so how and why? Is it because Trace is a Patternmind? I vaguely remember that Trace was a Patternmind from the first game and if so, it would make sense that Indra (Ophelia) would search for him in AV1 for her own motives. Instead, your primary weapon is a Pickaxe, which serves as your melee weapon and primary source of damage. I also don’t understand Trace or original Hammonds relation to AV2. One of the most significant changes to Axiom Verge 2's combat is that you no longer have guns as your primary weapon. But from what I have read on this subreddit, this doesn’t seem to be the case? Can someone please clarify the obvious similarities? Is it because the Lamasu were the inhabitants that came to Sudra as well and gave them the same technology to fight in the war between worlds? Especially since the final area is full of Rebirth Chambers as well as monitors, computers and chairs that literally are placed in the same way as they were on Sundra. Why does it have technology from Sudra? When I reached the last portion of the game, I was sure that the final twist would be that this new world was actually Sudra all along but earlier in the time lime (or at least a different version of Sudra in another dimension). The only reason of why she survives is because of the earthquake accidentally breaks the flask, thus infecting Indra with the first batch of nano machines. ![]() Prerequisites Gud An-Na Damu Categories Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted. I really enjoy the story and world building from Thomas and want to be clear on some topics that I never entirely understood through my first run.įirst of all – as far as I understand the real none nano-Indra dies in the beginning of the game. The Bronze Axe is a weapon found in Axiom Verge 2, a single-sided lighter counterpart to the Double Axe. ![]() Ok, so I finished AV2 last night and while I’m happy with the game overall I feel like I really could use some “plot break down for dummies” help here.
